Internship Description

We are looking for a Presales Engineer

  • Provide first level technical support to existing clients – the initial focus will be on our BMC FootPrints and BMC Track-It! service management solutions.  Support is provided primarily via telephone, email or remote access.
  • Conduct pre-sales product demos/presentations with prospective clients (generally via remote access).
  • Conduct on-site software implementations (for both new sales and upgrades for existing clients).

The candidate will need to

  • Mostly work independently and so should be self-motivated.
  • Be well organised and thorough in communicating with clients and analytical in resolving queries.
  • Be outgoing and enjoy dealing with clients as well as having a high level of professionalism in client interactions.
  • Have the ability to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions – including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Be prepared to travel, both in South Africa and to neighbouring countries.
  • Have good technical skill – including SQL Server, Exchange Server, as well as training up to be proficient in the software solutions we supply.
